My name is Monica Parker. I am Kanaka Maoli (with a little Filipino and Portuguese mixed in). I was born and raised in Waimea. My grandaughter is our 7th generation in Waimea.

My hope with palaili.com is to help to further normalize ‘Ōlelo Hawai‘i in Hawai‘i by printing phrases, local sayings, the names and characteristics of our wahi pana etc. on t-shirts that proudly state who we are as a people.
